Impact Fee Waiver Revives Development Project in Downtown Molalla

Their economies stagnant, several Oregon cities have recently reduced or deferred some impact fees to spur development. Molalla – a working-class bedroom community hit especially hard – waived water and sewer fees for 2010 or up to $1 million, whichever comes first. The incentives already are bringing positive effects, reports Portland Oregonian writer Dana Tims.
