Does Capital Bikeshare Affect Metrorail Ridership in Washington, D.C.?


Bicycle-sharing programs have emerged around the world. Theoretically, the effect of bicycle sharing on more conventional transit modes can take a substitute or complementary form. On one hand, bicycle sharing could substitute for conventional transit as a convenient and sustainable travel option.

Gov. Brown proposes spending $176 million toward Exide cleanup

Angry T riders are wearing boxing gloves in protest of fare hikes

Transit advocates came out fighting against MBTA fare increases at a Wednesday state transportation meeting.

Where's El Niño? Climate experts say more rain on the way

Government Center T station to reopen March 26

MBTA payroll shows $300,000, $200,000 earners


The MBTA payroll released today shows two employees pulled down $300,000-plus last year and 34 more took home gross pay of $200,000 or more.

MIT team rockets past competition
