Take a Look at the States Sending the Most Carbon Into the Air

Texas sits at the top of the list -- with more than twice the total carbon emissions of any other state. Despite a surge in wind power there, Texas still depends on fossil fuel-burning generators to serve a large and growing population. Florida, which ranks second in electricity production next to Texas, also comes in second in terms of emissions, according to the report authored by M.J.
