The union representing more than 600 city bus drivers announced that a Phoenix bus strike "appears to be very probable" after ending negotiations with Veolia Transportation Services on Thursday.
Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1433 President Bob Bean said Veolia plans to implement its "Best and Final" contract offer that the group had overwhelmingly rejected in August.
